Babs Emodi lives and writes in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, with her husband, a rescue dog, and a cat, who all appear in her writing in various disguises. She has grown children and grandchildren in various locations and as a result divides her time between Halifax, Austin, Texas and Berkeley, California so no one misses her too much.
In another life she has been a journalist, professor, and political commentator on radio. She has also published two sewing books under her out-of-the-house name Barbara Emodi.
