Fani Gargova is an architectural historian and currently postdoctoral Researcher for the interdisciplinary project “Synagogen-Gedenkbuch Hessen” at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. Her research interests include synagogue architecture and Jewish spaces, architectural Orientalisms, Byzantinisms, medievalisms, as well as the historiography of art history.
