About the Author
Jack Towe is a stumbling follower of Jesus. Now in his eighties, he knows that he needs to live in Christian community. Between 2000 and 2019, he lived in Christian community for seven years. During 2017, he visited the Bruderhof, Jesus People USA (JPUSA), and Reba Place Fellowship. He is now exploring Christian community in South Seattle’s Rainier Valley.
He received Jesus as his Savior in 1966 and was baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1968.
In 1970, he married Margaret Heine, a Lutheran deaconess. She was murdered by cancer in 1997. We have two daughters and a son, all in their forties, plus three grandchildren.
After Dartmouth, Harvard Law School, and seven years with General Electric, he became a developer of quality, affordable low-income housing—without need for direct government funding. The firm was Sign of the Cross Housing, located in Cincinnati’s lowest income community, Over-the-Rhine.
Now technically retired, he enjoys fellowship with Jesus, his family, and fellow believers. He also enjoys his callings as a playwright, writer, and economic developer.
