Born in Austin, Texas, John has grown up with a love for books and reading. When not nose deep in a fantasy novel, John immersed himself in video games and Kung Fu and Horror movies. He was not super popular. Despite that, when not writing or editing, John spends the lion's share of his time with his wife, daughter, and dog.
