Kristen Alexandra grew up in a suburb in the San Gabriel Valley of Southern California, near the Sierra Madre Mountains. She holds a master’s degree in early childhood education and has worked in both private/home settings as a nanny and also in elementary school settings as a teacher and teaching assistant. Prior to that, while raising her daughter as a single mother, she worked in the historic fine art photography galleries in Carmel, California, representing the work of some of the main artists in the field—Ansel Adams, Edward and Brett Weston, Imogen Cunningham, and other more contemporary artists. She now lives in southern Marin County, California, where she enjoys exploring beautiful hiking trails and spending time near the water.
