I am a proud father of four children – three sons and a daughter. Two of my children have dreamed of becoming elite athletes since they were young, while the other two found their passion in music, showing little interest in sports. I never pressured them into anything that didn't resonate with them. I've seen different paths unfold in my sons – my older son, despite his effort and determination, didn't reach the top in sports, while my younger son is currently on his way to success. This book is the result of my experiences, mistakes, and lessons learned along the athletic journey of both sons. I believe these insights will be valuable to you, the parents, who are supporting your children on their sports journey.

I come from Slovenia, a small country in the heart of Europe with a population of just two million. Despite our size, Slovenia is a true sports powerhouse, producing great champions like Luka Dončić, Anže Kopitar,Tadej Pogačar, Janja Garnbret, Jan Oblak, and Nika Prevc.
