PRABHAT KUMAR is Assistant Professor at the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies, New Delhi. He has taught history at the Presidency University, Kolkata. His areas of research include the literary, visual and cultural histories of north India. He is presently a fellow at the M. S. Merian–R. Tagore International Centre for Advanced Studies: Metamorphosis of the Political (ICAS:MP), Delhi.
