Riccardo Galgani was born in Glasgow in 1969 and had his first play,
Acts, produced by the Traverse Theatre in 1999. Further Traverse produced plays include
Green Field (2002) and
The Found Man (2005). He was also Pearson Playwright in Residence at the Traverse between 2001 and 2002. Additional writing work has included screenplay adaptations and script rewriting, as well as writing and directing festival exhibited short films.
