Shannon Heighton Hicks grew up in Central Virginia where she learned the love of books early on. She visited the Campbell County public library frequently with her grandmother. Here she would check out stacks of books as tall as she was.
Shannon began writing in elementary school. She continued writing, filling notebooks with stories and her own works in hope of publishing them someday.
After taking a break from writing for nearly thirty years, she has written her first book, Blind Love, the first book in her series, Iron Back Warriors, MC.
Shannon still lives in Central Virginia, with her husband, Tony and their three pugs, a German Shepherd mix name Cletus Earl. They have two grown sons and two grandchildren.
