Wang Jinkang (王晋康) is a senior petroleum engineer, a member of Chinese Writers Association, Vice President of China Science Writers’ Association, and the honorary president of the World Chinese SF Association. His first story, "Adam's Regression" (in Science Fiction World) in 1993, was a story he made up for his 10-year-old son. This story went on to win first prize in the Galaxy Award. He has published over ninety short stories and 16 novels.
