William Hayashi is an international award-winning script writer, an accomplished author of short stories and novels, and the host of The Genesis Science Fiction Radio Show for the last nine years. Hayashi's Darkside Trilogy, a series of novels detailing what happens in the United States when the country discovers African Americans living on the backside of the moon since before Neil Armstrong's arrival, has garnered critical acclaim and is under development for adaptation to television.Hayashi's first four movie scripts were produced, including his very first which won the Chicago leg of the 48 Hour Film Project in 2009, As the host of the Genesis Science Fiction Radio Show, he has interviewed hundreds of Black creatives in science fiction, fantasy, and horror across all forms of media.
