At a young age, Samantha Whitman is left all alone in the world. Securing lodgings at the home of Doris Franklin, former mistress of the late notorious gangster Archie Miller, Sammy slowly starts to enjoy life again. After a chance meeting, she is swept off of her feet by a handsome stranger and is totally taken in by his charm.
