Socially apathetic but intensely curious anthropology grad student Jack Bardot spends a lot of time observing others. More specifically, the lives of her neighbors through her window. As the deadline to finalize her research question draws near, Jack avoids real life to fixate on the two new sets of neighbors who arrived at the start of summer. But when someone goes missing, Jack starts to wonder what her neighbors are really up to. Especially once she learns that a suspicious death from twenty years ago and a second missing person are both connected to her new neighbor.
Jack's predilection for people-watching has put her in danger, so can she figure out what's going on before it's too late?
