Sandra Tanner is the great-great granddaughter of Brigham Young, second president of the LDS Church. As a teenager, she was challenged on the truth claims on Mormonism, which eventually led her and her husband, also a fifth generation Mormon, on a quest for truth. This led her to leave the LDS Church and embrace evangelical Christianity. Together, Jerald and Sandra started and led a ministry to help other Mormons investigate their faith and embrace the Bible's teachings. Sandra has published numerous books and appeared on many media programs on this topic.

What are the differences between the practices of Mormonism and the Bible? Is the Jesus of the Mormon Church the Jesus of the Bible? In Mormonism Jesus is a man who became one of many gods. Biblical Christianity teaches Jesus was always God, and that there is only one God. Why is it most Mormons do not talk about these and other controversial differences? Further, Mormon teachings consider the Book of Mormon as equal to the Bible and accept several other books as inspired writings. What is the historical evidence to support these writings? What about accusations of borrowing from other writings or religious traditions? Why is it most Mormons do not talk about these and other controversial differences? This and much more are included in this study. You'll find yourself more equipped in your own beliefs and be better prepared to discuss your faith with Mormons.
