Mit gekonnt leichter Hand, heiter, besinnlich und bissig hält uns der Autor den Spiegel des Lebens vor: den Wahnsinn des Alltags, der uns täglich umgibt, wie auch den Irrsinn des Lebens allgemein, dem Jeder ausgesetzt ist, und mit dem wir versuchen, so gut klar zu kommen, wie es uns möglich ist. Er lässt uns schmunzeln, wenn wir unser eigenes Verhalten reflektieren, aber auch nachdenklich und besinnlich werden, wenn er tiefe Gefühle wie aktuelle Probleme, Tod und Trauer anspricht. Er beschönigt nichts, trifft den Kern und bringt es auf den Punkt, was allerdings auch mal wehtut.
