Teoksessani "Minun Leonardoni"pyrin kuvaamaan taiteilijaa ja neroa samalla tavoin kuin hän itse on käsitellyt Jeesuksen opetuslapsia maalauksessaan "Viimeinen ehtoollinen", eli inhimillisinä persoonallisuuksina.
Kuvauskeinoina olen käyttänyt historiallisia "totuuksia" sekä mielikuvtusta ja omaa lapsekasta kerrontaani, huumorintajuani ja itseironiaa.
