Ending
We have several fears: fear of the act of terrorism, fear of dying, fear of being separated from the people we love; fear of losing our job, the list is perpetual! Many of our fears are rooted in delusions, confusing ways of seeing ourselves and the world around us. If we learn to take control, relax and finally erase these delusions, the unhealthy is annihilated.
Still, we need healthy fear. For example, it makes no sense for a smoker to be terrified of dying from lung cancer unless there is something he or she will do about it, namely quit smoking. If a smoker is afraid enough of dying from lung cancer, they will take steps to quit.
Even when a smoker is vulnerable to lung cancer due to smoke, it is true that we are vulnerable to risk and harm, we are vulnerable to aging, disease and pain that come from delusions of ties, anger and ignorance.
We could choose to live in self-denial and therefore relinquish the control we have, or we can choose to acknowledge this vulnerability, admit that we are in danger, and thus determine a way to avoid risk by eliminating the real causes of illness. all fear (same as fumes). In this way we gain control, and if we are in control, we have no reason to fear.
A balanced fear is healthy, as it serves to indicate constructive action to avoid real danger. We only need fear as an impulse until we have eliminated the causes of our vulnerability through the attainment of spirituality, inner peace and the gradual strengthening of the mind. Once we do this, we are not afraid, as we no longer have anything that can hurt us.
Being afraid of things we have no control over is an unhealthy fear, a failed survival mechanism. Sometimes this can be healthy and normal. However, fear has become rampant when it never leaves us. It becomes a shadow, forever by your side............
