The TERRA NOVA, a starship with more than thirty thousand crew on board, fell into the sphere of influence of a transmitter that had been created eons ago by a technically far superior race.
The ship, under the command of Arn Polo, found itself literally at the other end of the universe. All the time in the world seemed insufficient to ever reach the home Milky Way Galaxy.
And none of the spacefaring peoples encountered so far seemed even remotely capable of bridging such distances.
The truth was that the crew of TERRA NOVA did not even have the ability to locate their galaxy of origin.
At least ten billion light years separated TERRA NOVA from its home Milky Way and Earth.
