Knights of Vallor
|
When Fara disappears with the sorceress Ledadora, Salia scrambles to save her, only to be intercepted by Kamryn, who claims that Fara has not been "kidnapped" but nonethless needs rescuing. Meanwhile, when Fara is caught cheating on Salia by Moirin, a furious Moirin runs away and stumbles across a magick mirror that transports her to another dimension -- where she meets a mysterious woman who is just as wild as she. Don't miss part five of this lesbian romance series!
--
Fara recognized the bird. It was known as Artuse, and it could turn into a beautiful young woman at will. And though its song was quite beautiful, the bird was incapable of speech, even in human form. It had been Ledadora's love and companion for many years, and when Fara had lived at the tower years before, Artuse had joined her and Ledadora in many nights of pleasure.
--
Moirin and the goblins all turned their heads in unison, their expressions spread in shock, and they watched open-mouthed as a woman leapt through the portal and landed in the grass nearby, her powerful legs catching her in a squat. She was wild, her muscular body wrapped in animal hides, and she carried a giant two-handed sword in both hands that gleamed watery as it reflected the light of the portal behind her. As she straightened up, she was so big and tall that she seemed to block the very sky, casting a shadow over them all. Her expression was cold, her green eyes dark with the fury of a goddess, and the portal sent her red hair whipping about her, which only made her all the more terrifying.
--
Salia sat in pleasant disbelief, and the three of them were silent for a time as the rickshaw bumped them along. Then Salia said very happily, "Are you two saying you wish to marry me?"
Fara and Kamryn both kissed Salia's cheeks, and the princess shrieked out a giggle.
--
"I abandoned no one," said Idet, calmly amused by the rage of the twins. "For reasons that are well beyond me, Salia has chosen your company over mine" (Salia smirked to hear how annoyed Idet sounded by that) "and that choice has made Moirin your responsibility, not mine. You have failed her" (Fara tensed) "and I have come to be certain your recklessness does not bring her further harm."
"Recklessness?" growled Fara, eyes popping indignantly. "I was there from the moment she was born! I changed her swaddling, I watched with joy as she did take her first step – while you impregnated Salia without her knowledge or consent and then disappeared back into your cozy palace--!"
"Craven!" Kamryn added furiously. "Drop your magick shield and face us! That you would call yourself Moirin's parent is an outrage! Fara and I are the girl's father! She needs you not!"
