Mason smells a delicious new human at the monthly mixer and immediately knows he needs to make her his. He doesn't want to scare her but his primal urges threaten to take over. When she runs, no one can hold him back to claim her as his.

"Hi," I almost moaned.
"Hi," he replied with a grin showing his teeth. "I have never smelled someone as delicious as you on one of these mixers."
Did I smell delicious? He looked delicious. If I had a spoon, I would just scoop him up. My brain seemed to work overtime while my mouth just hung open.
"I hope I am not being too forward, but would you like to be my partner for the nightly chase?"
"Me?" I managed to squeal.
"Apologies," he said, while he readjusted his jeans and I could see a massive bulge threatening to break free.
"I'm forgetting my manners," he said with a wolfish grin. "My name is Mason. And you are?"
"Shay."
"I would be honored to chase you tonight, Shay."
Another wordless sound escaped me, but that didn't deter him.
Mason winked at me and said, "Maybe after this, we can get a drink to get to know each other a bit."
