Helen is the object of Tara's envy. The two trans girls have become fast friends, but Tara can't get over the fact that Helen is just better. She has a better fashion sense, better makeup, a better body, and she's even better at the dorky hobbies they share. As far as Tara is concerned, Helen is perfect, the kind of woman she could only ever hope to be - or be with.
It starts over such a small thing: a most inconsequential wish. While Helen is setting up their weekly RPG session, Tara picks up one of her immaculately painted miniatures.
"I wish I could paint like this," Tara says wistfully.
"Do you wanna come over to my place tomorrow? I can teach you how," Helen says casually.
But there is a fire in Helen's eyes. As far as she's concerned, Tara is the cutest anxious little bunny rabbit in the world, and she's been dying for an excuse to spend some time alone with her. She definitely wants to teach Tara a brush trick or two, but she's not thinking so much of her myriad tiny bottles of acrylic miniature paint as she is about the fresh batch of bodypaint she just picked up.
