Candice was born in Paris KY on 9 January 1988. Her parents, George Bertrand Christian, an attorney who once aspired to be an actor, and Frances Hollowell insisted that Candice and her sister Simone, be sent to a Catholic school. Candice was deeply religious as a child, at one point thought of becoming a nun.
A former schoolteacher, Blake changes careers and accepts a position with one of the Big Five consulting firms. Not long after being hired she is assigned to a project with another relatively new consultant Jeyla. After one particularly hard and long day, the two decide to go out for dinner and some drinks, both thinking it would be an ideal way to get to know each other better. After dinner and one too many drinks the two go to Blake's place since it's so close so Jeyla can spend the night.
The two co-workers both assume the other is straight and think little about how to behave once at Blakes. The alcohol, the fatigue and chemistry cause both women to drop their straight inclinations and before morning each learns that their assumptions about each other were completely wrong and started a lasting lesbian relationship. A relationship both agreed would be open, but honest.
After the two consultants move in with each other, Blake is pressed into an awkward situation with a client who is not subtle about her lust for Blake. Jeyla picks up on it and encourages Blake to 'keep the customer satisfied'. Blake takes her advice and the next time the client makes a pass at her; Blake lets the woman take her to her home. The rich client Whitney is a real player and Blake learns quickly that she is just one of dozens of women Whitney bed on a regular basis. After wining and dining the willing Blake Whitney proceeds to take the young consultant through her paces. Even going so far as to offer her sexy young maid to Blake if she was so inclined. When Blake accepted the offer, little did she know how it would turn her life upside down.
