Janardan and Chalapathi were good friends for a long time but differences have arisen between them both from the moment they started competing for MLA post to their constituency and Janardan's winning in the elections and becoming an MLA created envy, jealousy and anger in Chalapathi towards his friend which caused a complete cessation to their friendship. Janaradan was always with a wish to restore his friendship with Chalapathi as he was his close friend from his childhood itself. As if to pave a way to that, Susmitha, Janardan's daughter and Vijay, Chalapathi's son fell in love with each other and Janaradan's agreeing not to stand in the coming elections for the post of MLA and to support Chalapathi in that also when Chalapathi demanded for that to perform the marriage of his son Vijay with Janardan's daughter Susmitha, all the disputes and differences between both those friends were resolved and both the families met in the house of Janardan to discuss about the marriage of Vijay and Susmitha. But when Chalapathi was murdered in the house of Janardan on the night of that day in the upstairs room while he was sleeping, the real problem has arisen.
