Meet Hannah, a young English transgender woman who has put her physical transition behind her to focus on her career as a marine biologist.
Hannah makes an important research trip to Greenland under the watchful eye of a local guide. In an extreme and dangerous environment, they find themselves thrown together for survival. In saving Noah's life, old memories surface and Hannah's caring nature leads to an unexpected turn. The trauma that they shared bonds them, creating an intimacy and friendship that was to endure beyond the few days of their expedition.

Who is she, exactly? She would say she is just a woman and that is how we should acknowledge her. We see the world through her eyes, know her fears and share her joy. Perhaps, through her, we can understand a little more of ourselves and be kinder to those we meet along the way?
