When Douglas begins an affair with his stunning yet prim colleague, Nguyet, neither of them suspects how turbulent their liaison will become. In the first episode here, Douglas meets the stunning young Tuyet at her parents' home, after a downpour prevented the trip to the romantic old cottage in the countryside they had been planning. However, after a more than pleasant first hour, the events begin to match the grim weather. At least, for the young lady.
After Tuyet and Douglas reconcile in a rather titillating way a week later, they finally get to spend two hours together, just the two of them. Douglas shares how he had met his first girlfriend in Vietnam, before they visit his muse Nguyet, who is going to draw a seminude portrait of the dazzling maiden.
The two women quickly realize that they mean much more to each other than they thought, so the ensuing threesome turns into a cosmic event. And, when Tuyet and Douglas finally have to say goodbye for the next six months, in the last chapter, they finally find an idiosyncratic way to express their deep love for each other.
All novellas here are told in a charming, light-hearted, and very revealing manner while, in passing, each chapter also offers insights into Vietnamese culture. Without taboos, all episodes explore the sources and dynamic of erotic desire and lure the reader under the spell of an exotic world.
The author of this extensive series of erotic stories has been enjoying Southeast Asia for ten years now. After living in Germany and the U.S. for most of his life, Douglas ventured in the opposite direction in 2010: first, he taught at a community college in the South Seas for three years, before settling in Vietnam. Naturally, all novellas reflect his undying love for young Southeast Asian women.
