Erika became an avid reader at a very early age, thanks to her dad who introduced her to many great books. Erika writes magical realism, alternate history, epic fantasy novels as well as fun, educational and bilingual books for children ages 2-17 about acceptance, friendship, family, and moral values such as accepting people with disabilities, dealing with bullies, and not judging others before getting to know them.
Lorraine Carey was born in Coventry, England and moved to Greencastle, Co. Donegal where she grew up. Her poetry has been widely published in the following; Thee Honest Ulsterman, Vine Leaves, Thee Galway Review, Proletarian, Olentangy Review, Dodging the Rain, A New Ulster, Quail Bell, Live Encounters, ROPES, North West Words, Poethead and Atrium. A past winner of the Charles Macklin Poetry Competition, she was shortlisted in the Originals category at Listowel Writers' Week 2015. She was a runner-up in the Poetry Ireland / Trocaire Competition 2017. She has contributed poetry to several anthologies and her artwork was featured as the cover image for the May 2017 edition of Three Drops From A Cauldron. She now resides in Fenit, Co Kerry.
