Joe, a high school student, is in a deep discussion on the phone with his gaming buddy he knows from online, Drew, about the Sims game he's playing with replica characters of his family. Joe casually mentions that he wants to kill 'his' mother but he actually means the character of his mother in the Sims game. Another high school student, Trevor, overhears this and freaks out thinking it's real. When Joe explains and tells him it's just in the game and he'd never kill his mom he invites a relieved Trevor to come game with him after school then he'll show him the Sims game. So after school, Trevor and Joe go to Joe's house and they play the Sims. There is an instant attraction between the two and the more they get to know each other the closer they get. But there's just one problem; they're both straight.
