Candice was born in Paris KY on 9 January 1988. Her parents, George Bertrand Christian, an attorney who once aspired to be an actor, and Frances Hollowell insisted that Candice and her sister Simone, be sent to a Catholic school. Candice was deeply religious as a child, at one point thought of becoming a nun.
Abigail starts her day like any other witch's day in 17th Century England; after washing and dressing and preparing breakfast, she is visited by Bauman, the top warlock, who reveals to her that there is disturbance in the continuum and needs her help. It involves a young woman, Katharine, who has 'the gift' but this girl does not know that she possesses it just yet.
The girl is in a rather difficult situation coming to adulthood with questions about her sexual orientation. What is most troubling is the pressure her parents have put on the girl to conform to their wishes, and not to her own, and it is disturbing the continuum as this girl is contemplating suicide, and that is unacceptable to the 'higher ups' in witchdom.
Abigail sees the appeal as her chance to make a difference and sets about to correct issues that exist between the girl and her parents even if it does ruffle some feathers. Using her power of dreams and other assorted spells, she discovers a solution for Katharine, she must introduce her to another girl, Susan who is also burdened with issues of her own. The introduction of the two is just what both girls needed, and it looks as though Abigail was able to make a difference.
