Vivian peered over her shoulder; brow furrowed as Sally carefully unfolded the paper. The writing was frantic, as if the person had scribbled it in a hurry:
"Please, someone, help me! I'm being held against my will. They're going to sell me. I'm scared. I need to get out of here!"
