They say when you go to bed with a whore you wake up with one next to you. When you are naive like I always was, and so much enjoy living in a dream-like world thinking everyone surrounding you, being good and honest all feels good and right, and life goes on in happiness, at least in your perception.
But what happens when you suddenly realize it was all a lie.
You wake up, and somehow, just overnight, you've put all the pieces together, you look at the other side of your comfortable bed and see a monster next to you. No, not just a whore, a real monster. One of those you read in the news about an abuser, murderer, and child trafficker.
When I woke up, I turned my head, looked at her, and knew it all. I couldn't feel my heart beating, my breath became unnoticeable, I couldn't move, everything stopped.
She looked so different from the one I fell in love with so many years ago, the one who gave birth to my children. I saw the murderer, the child abuser, the human trafficker. I saw the thousands of children she trafficked. Everywhere, dead bodies of little innocent souls.
