Stories that Explore the Human Condition, a four-story collection touching on romance, crime, and the effect of losing someone close.
The first story in the collection titled "Washing Day," tells the tale of an ordinary man on an ordinary day going to the laundry mat to do his laundry. When suddenly the laundry mat is robbed at gunpoint, the protagonist is thrown into a tense scenario that could result in death.
The second story is titled "All Over Now," and is about a man facing the consequences of his action and choices and the effects it has on not only him but his close family members. Perhaps if he made better choices in life, he wouldn't be in the predicament he is in at the beginning of the story.
Then readers are in for a change of tone with "A Special Black Cat Day". Moving away from drama, this story is about a small-town celebration and a boy's romantic interest in a girl and his attempts to sweep her off her feet.
Lastly, "Goodbye" details a woman's grief at the loss of a family member. And further details how her actions could be looked at as immature in the moment, but that immaturity can have severe consequences down the line.
