This book is not an attempt to console or inspire, nor is it a naive hope that "everything will be fine." It is an honest look at how time shapes our perception, why adults often seem cynical, and why youthful enthusiasm inevitably fades. Perhaps this is inevitable, or perhaps we ourselves contribute to this process.
I write based on my experiences, observations, and reflections on the world. I am neither a scientist nor a psychologist, but I am someone who observes and reflects. Perhaps, while reading this book, you will recognize a part of yourself, learn something new, or gain fresh ideas.
