Throughout tens of thousands of years of human history, hundreds of thousands of people have left their mark and passed through this world; prophets, saints, spiritual leaders, writers, poets, philosophers... All have strived to understand and give meaning to life, leaving behind signposts with their words and actions for those who follow.
In my life, spanning over fifty years, I have attempted to distill and convey some of the insights and lessons I have gathered from these great individuals who have illuminated my path. This book contains poetic stories, commentaries based on the collective experiences of humanity, and illustrations that have emerged from within me... Here are 40 pieces of these.
In summary, this book is a humble reflection of my journey to explore life and the human soul. Each poem, each drawing, and each commentary is a crystallized feeling, thought, or observation. As I attempted to express universal themes such as love, friendship, struggle, hope, and faith in a poetic language, I noticed the book expanding and becoming detailed. I then felt the need to review and refine the book, ultimately managing to halve its volume and reach this version.
With this work, my intention is to be a companion to readers; to offer lines that can serve as a guide on their inner journey. I hope that readers will find words and images that resonate in their own lives and spark new thoughts.
For poetry is not just the arrangement of words; it is also the voice of the soul. Each verse is an attempt to understand human existence and one's relationship with the Creator. In this context, this book is a brief logbook in the quest for the deep meanings that life continually presents.
For some, life is a place of conflict, struggle, and strife... Perhaps it is merely the name of the struggle for survival. But for those who see with wisdom, the world is a panorama of lessons in poetic form!
How we view human history also shapes our perspective on the world. Some see human history as a series of wars and conflicts, while others see it as a canvas of wisdom and lessons.
Life can sometimes be as short as a poem, sometimes as complex as an explanation, and sometimes as captivating as an image. In this book, I have tried to bring together the different faces of life and offer readers an experience that goes beyond mere reading, encouraging reflection and emotion.
I hope that this reflection of life in poetic form will help everyone find themselves in these lines, deepen their thoughts, and perhaps discover new meanings.
To those who see life as a poetic lesson, to those who look at the world, humanity, its past and future from this perspective, this book is dedicated... Welcome to the poetry collection "From the Hidden Treasure"! Happy reading... December 29, 2024
