FINDING ACCEPTANCE
The first story in the collection, "Love Affairs," follows Jeffery as he struggles to prove his love to Jenny, who doesn't believe him due to her disability. Meanwhile, Jeffery's ex-girlfriend tries to convince him that she is a better match for him than Jenny, who dismisses Jenny's worth because of her condition.
In the second story, "New Friendships," readers are introduced to Destiny, a young woman who uses a wheelchair and struggles to find friends who will accept her as she truly is. Her life changes when she meets Jeffery, who stands up for her when his sister bullies her.
The third story, "Jane's Wish," tells of a heartwarming journey for Jane, a girl in foster care because her biological mother was unable to care for her. Jane dreams of meeting her birth mother, but her adoptive mom tries to discourage her, insisting that her biological mother is unfit. Determined to uncover the truth, Jane takes matters into her own hands and undertakes her own research to find the truth.
The final story, "The Train Trap," introduces Stacy, a girl with prejudiced views. She believes that those with disabilities do not deserve freedom. Stacy learns the importance of acceptance and discovers how wrong it is judge someone based on their differences.
