CeCe's Beginnings: A Flash of Fiction is a collection of four stories offering a bit of mythical magic, a spark of romance, unique occurrences, and a touch of essence.
In "The Senses" follows Gina, a young lady who just wants to go home and rest after a long day at work. Only its late, and she's left without any rideshares, buses, or taxis around she has to walk. Her only guidance is perception and a gleaming moon, she's anxious to get home to her family before dinner gets cold.
In "The Laundry Trap" Kahleesi, just wants to wash clothes so she can enjoy her weekend off, somehow stuck on her horrible breakup, she forgot the detergent. Running and grabbing a bottle from the closet, she bumps into her ex which causes things to get dirty.
In "Thinking the Dream", readers can follow along Ja' Rea as she goes on a hunt to find the perfect gift for her fiancé. It's a matter of hours before the big surprise, determined to make his dream come true, she's willing to travel three hours away. Unsure of what to expect in a place she's never been, she sets out to accomplish her mission.
The last story "The Invasion of Sallytopia" is the story of Realleigh, a young girl in a big world who searches to find that something magical inside. Her home planet Sallytopia, beginning with her hometown Reneland, depends on her to find what she feels is missing. If she doesn't find what's missing things can be disastrous, only she's not sure where to look and she doesn't know what to look for.
