Anja Nicole Stuckenberger is a Cultural Anthropologist who has conducted research in northern Canada and Alaska and has worked at Utrecht University in the Netherlands and Dartmouth College, NH, USA. She is also a Lutheran pastor, has worked in Reading, Pennsylvania and is now the director of the Ev. City Academy of Bochum in Germany. She has published academic books and articles. This is her first childrens book - and it has been a delight writing it. Not the least thanks to Ekaterina Kozlovas generous gift of her drawings - they are a feast to the eye.
