Ankit Lal is an computer engineer-turned-activist/politician
who helmed the social media efforts for the Anna Hazareled
India Against Corruption campaign in 2012. He then
spearheaded the digital presence of the Aam Aadmi Party
since its inception until 2015 and ran the party’s social media
campaigns for its first three elections. He was also involved in
social media mobilization during the Nirbhaya protests and has
been an active participant in the campaign for net neutrality.
Apart from being a part of the Aam Aadmi Party, Ankit also
runs a consultancy firm called Politique Advisors, and gives
lectures on social media across the globe. India Social is his
first book.
