Antonio Galarza is the author of Warlocks & Sorceresses: The Timeless Grimoire, the first book in the Division of Global Magic Affairs series. Fantasy, Supernatural, Romance, and Adventure stories fuel this author’s soul. Devoted introvert. General music aficionado. Creator. Infuriatingly humble TV fan. Reader. Corn-flake lover and friendly troublemaker born in 1993 southwest of Puerto Rico. In the Land of Coffee, Yauco.
The evolution of this series was a process that occurred over the course of five years. The first two years were spent thinking about whether to create the story until my friend John said to me, “Why don’t you write it?” Another year went by, and thoughts still lingered on my head about sitting down and writing it. However, during that time notes were taken in old school notebooks. And in the fourth year, I wrote the outline of the quadrilogy alongside the first few chapters. I worked closely with ghostwriter B. Steed, on Victor Waltz’s POV when the story was first meant to be a standalone third-person limited.
Over the last year, I wrote the rest of the book. I changed the story to multiple POV’s because I felt it was the way the story needed to be told. All the content provided by my ghostwriter, B. Steed, didn’t make it into the last cut. B. Steed worked so hard on the project for months, and I wanted to thank him for working with me on this project. I’m a big believer that there’s no shame in admitting that you’ve partnered with a brilliant writer to help you articulate your message.
Always be honest with yourself.
Be happy in life, as you only live once.
Don’t fall because of others.
And if you do, get up, get up, get up.
I’ll stand with you in spirit.
You can do anything.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
Thank you for giving this world and characters a chance.
