Barbara Bourke is a passionate writer with a love for photography and travel, often combining both interests. Her journeys and the people she encounters inspire her to create new novels. She takes pleasure in designing her book covers using her own photography. Based in the picturesque Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland, Australia, she and her husband enjoy exploring the beautiful countryside and traveling both within Australia and overseas. Barbara's writing reflects her love for mystery, suspense, and exploring mystical, paranormal, and metaphysical realms. She is fascinated by the unseen world and delves into the human experience in her storytelling. Her stories transport readers to captivating worlds and evoke a sense of positivity. In her leisure time, she enjoys hiking and practicing yoga. Barbara's first book, a collection of ten short stories titled 'What If,' originated from a single story she wrote for a newsletter during her time as a nutritionist running a wellness website with a friend. She has authored five books to date, with more in progress.
