Barry used to have a very different career, making noises on computers and teaching others how to record and edit sound. Even now, he still composes music and sells it online.
Then, in 2018, he developed myalgic encephalomyelitis, also called ME. This stopped him doing all sorts of things, from working, flying aeroplanes, or doing sport.
Thankfully, it didn't stop him from writing, though it slows him down a bit. These days, he's got 3,203 different book ideas, two cats who think he should be feeeding them instead, and a loving family.
