Benedict O´Boyle was born in West Sussex, England in 1982.  Aged eight he moved with his family to Cyprus where his Father had a job teaching the children of the Armed Forces.  This allowed the family to experience an active lifestyle, enjoy the Mediterranean way of life and travel extensively.

Returning to the UK he achieved a degree in Furniture Design and craftsmanship in 2005 and with a family on the way, Benedict set up a small business in Hertfordshire, designing and making bespoke furniture.

Benedict has published two biographies.  The first book, Little steps around the world, followed a family backpacking adventure when their daughter was three years old.  Benedict´s second biography, Mud, Sweat and tear gas, shared his volunteering experiences in order to raise awareness and funds for refugees in the camp known as the Calais Jungle.

His daughter is now a young woman and Benedict lives alone in rural Spain, enjoying an active lifestyle whilst creating beautiful furniture and writing in the sun.
