Born on a farm in Cullman, Alabama, Brenda Webb proudly admits to being a country girl and after years of living in the city she achieved her dream of going back to her roots. She and her husband now reside on a three acre mini-farm, sporting a large vegetable garden, grape arbors, a flock of chickens and numerous rescued dogs and cats.
Before her obsession with all things Jane Austen, she spent most of her career as a full-charge bookkeeper and administrative assistant to the president of a CPA firm. Now retired, she enjoys visiting with family and friends and indulging her love of storytelling.
Always a voracious reader and a closet writer, she rediscovered Jane Austen books after watching the 2005 Pride and Prejudice movie. Searching for everything relating to Miss Austen, eventually she stumbled into the world of fan fiction. After reading other people's stories, she decided to try her hand at writing a tale that kept coming to mind. By November of 2010, she had started her own forum, DarcyandLizzy.com. Many readers followed her to this site to keep up with a story that she had started posting online—Fitzwilliam Darcy An Honourable Man.
Several friends insisted that she publish the story and in April 2011 it became available online, followed by Mr. Darcy's Forbidden Love, Darcy and Elizabeth - A Most Unlikely Couple, Darcy and Elizabeth - A Promise Kept, A Twist of Fate and Passages – A Pemberley Tale.
