Carol Makgalemela is a single parent of a girl named Lesedi Makgalemela. In November of 2021 Carol started an Art studio with daughter Lesedi to provide leisure art for adults. The business is now, fully run by Lesedi and has transitioned into an ART Wellness business @ARTDELIGHTT). Carol started this business to create employment for her daughter, not wanting her daughter to end up like the many young south African talented children who were either unemployed or working as lackies through the dismal internship program, after graduating. Carol draws in her spare time so going this route of business was a natural progression (a childhood relived).

Carol is a qualified Metallurgical engineer and a practicing Quality Management Systems Auditor. She has also worked as a consultant throughout her career, in training and guiding Executives on how to implement efficient systems using standards. She has volunteered as a mentor to young professionals and high school kids. It is this exposure that has formed the desire to share what ever knowledge Carol has learned over the years, with the hope of helping parents avoid the potholes she encountered.
