I've been writing my entire life: poetry, fiction, and non-fiction. This love affair with the written word prompted me to take a huge risk and pursue writing as a career after I recovered from cancer. In addition to being a writer, I am a mother, a wife, a volunteer, an animal lover, avid runner and swimmer, and parent to one highly neurotic dog and a tiny dog who loves naps.
