Chloe Buiting is an Australian veterinarian and wildlife conservationist. Her experience growing up on Australia’s beautiful Lord Howe Island inspired her to pursue a career in the field of wildlife conservation. Chloe completed a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, both at the University of Melbourne. Following this, she undertook additional training in large animal anaesthesia in Africa. Chloe has since spent time both working and volunteering with a range of wildlife organisations around the world. When she isn’t working abroad, she lives with her husband Jan (who is also a wildlife vet!) on Kangaroo Island in South Australia. They enjoy surfing, snorkelling, time with friends, photography and, of course, looking after the orphaned kangaroo and koala joeys that come into their care! The Jungle Doctor is Chloe’s first book.
