Daniel Scott Deublein, a native of Show Low, Arizona, and former actor who portrayed characters such as Ben Swift on Beverly Hills, 90210, embarked on a journey that has led to new horizons. Departing from the entertainment industry in 2005, he set his sights on pursuing a Master of Science Degree from Des Moines University. Afterward, he became a board-certified Physician Associate and began practicing Emergency Medicine and Interventional Radiology. He would later go on to work in the villages of Kodiak Island, Alaska.
In a serendipitous turn, he and his wife eventually retired to the tranquil embrace of Greer, Arizona, where they built their own log home. Daniel later returned to filmmaking, crafting the compelling short film “Rooted in Arizona.” It premiered at the Chandler Film Festival and received recognition as the ‘Best Documentary Short' at the Independent Shorts Awards in Los Angeles, CA.
Evolving as an author, Daniel’s inaugural novel, “Trail of the Forgotten Grizzly,” emerged in 2023. With a deep-rooted commitment to conservation, he actively champions the preservation of the Arizona White Mountains.
