I am a newly published author, but I have been writing for decades. I have sat through more English classes than I can name. Still don't know how to talk it though! I'll be back in several different genres until I find one that fits. The reason that this is my first book is because I've always wanted to write a space opera. This is as close as I can come. I hope you like it.
