Ed Fair, author of the shorty-story collection THE UNLIKELY TWINS AND MORE STORIES and the poetry collection SLOW DESCENT AND OTHER LITTLE STORIES (all 5 star Amazon ratings), is a former music attorney and avid birder who discovered a love for writing late in life.
The newest release, THE UNLIKELY TWINS AND OTHER STORIES, is full of short stories in the literary, historical and suspense fiction genres. He writes like a modern-day O'Henry with stories full of unexpected twists and jaw-dropping endings.
Raised in Brownwood, Texas not far from the Texas-Mexico border, that area often serves as the inspiration and setting for his stories.
He earned degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and Virginia Commonwealth University. After a detour into the music business working with ZZ Top and others, he earned his law degree at UT Austin. He practicing in Los Angeles before again returned to Austin to teach music and entertainment law at UT Austin. Throughout his law practice he represented a wide range of high-profile music clients.
After retirement in 2018, the author moved to Costa Rica and is now traveling like a nomad with his girlfriend through Central and South America as he continues to work on his next wook.
