I'm a writer, editor, and firefighter from rural Nova Scotia. As a teen, I spent long summer days reading in the back yard, fostering a love of writing and books that drives me to create compelling stories with realistic characters and settings based loosely on the world I live in every day. I love being active in my community and connecting with friends and family as well as other writers. I've lived in Toronto, Victoria, Accra and Johannesburg and I settled back home in southwest Nova Scotia several years ago.
