Born in Italy, he has loved movies since his childood. He worked in a multinational until he decided to leave and start writing as he had done in his teens. He spent some time in L.A. years ago. He published three hard-boiled stories of the "Detective Emmett Kowalski" series with noirish atmospheres set in the Los Angeles of the Forties. Two other thriller books of the "Golden ring" (Anello d'oro) series take place in Southern USA. His new book "Summer of death" (Rade nuvole e delitti) revolves around a policeman and his investigation on a serial killer in San Francisco in 1966. The author lives in a small town on the Mediterranean coast.
